My company sent me today and some of my co-workes to LI (Uniondale) EAB Plaza. Anybody been inside of this Building? IT is so awesome here. seems like i am at some kind of hotel. Nice work environment. We have like 4 pcs per person here. Plus we get to watch Tv during work ours.

Now i can see why some people wanna work in Long Island.

I alays worked in the horrific city, even though my building was amazingly gorgeous and by the south street seaport, I could not stand the environment of manhattan. Noisy, construction everywhere, buses & cabs, subways and tons of pedestrians. I always wanted to work in a peacefull area like long island. I prefer spaciousness and quiet.

Yes, I worked in the bright emerald green mirrored glass building right next to the seaport. 180 maiden lane. Looked more like a hotel than an office building. On the 31st floor, my office had a post card perfect view of all 3 bridges and the east river.

No actually it was great. I was very proud of this particular location and facility. I just dont like manhattan in general. Its noisy, filthy, overcrowded and polluted.. Subways are dirtier than public toilette bowls..

Ahhh, nu togda enjoy the first couple of days, then back to work!!! I like long island overall.

Working on long island is nice (at least driving there is not much of a hastle, you don't have to deal with crazy drivers).

Personally though in a perfect world if I had to chose where to live, I'd want to live in midtown manhatten by central park on weekdays, and rest on long island on the weekends, where it's quiet and nice. But that's in a perfect world of course.
