How many hours should a person sleep to get a good rest?
What is the best time to go to sleep? :innoc08:

8 hours, however best quality sleep is between 11PM and 1AM. Nerves regenerate and body heals.

A person should sleep 7 to 8 hours to get a good rest. The most rest that the person gets is during the REM phase. In REM phase proteins and other cellular components are returned to body. During sleep we cycle in and out of that REM phase. The longest REM phase happens after the 6th hour. So if you sleep less than 6 hours you don't rest as much. The best time to go to sleep is 10PM since you will start your day early at 6AM ;) Or 11PM to start your day at 7AM.

Sleeping on average 5-6 hours a day for the last 6 years.:( Do not attempt, or it will slowly make you into "the thing". ;)
Some of you may know that I look like I am 30 while I am only 14. It is all because of crazy sleep habbits.

Oh that darn REM is haunting me everywhere .... i am in that REM phase already a second year :conf:
