A veterinarian has scheduled seven animals - Porter, Quint, Rocky, Slacker, Tammy, Venus, and Willoughby - to be examined on a single day, from first to seventh. Each animal will be examined exactly once during the day, and no two animals will be examined at the same time. The order of examinations must conform to the following restrictions:

Porter is examined immediately before Tammy is examined
If Quint is examined fifth, Venus is examined sixth.
If Slacker is examined second, Porter is examined third.
Willoughby is examined either fourth or sixth.
Venus is not examined first or fifth.

1. Which one of the following is an acceptable ordering of animal examinations?
(a) Quint, Slacker, Porter, Tammy, Venus, Willoughby, Rocky
(b) Quint, Venus, Slacker, Willoughby, Porter, Tammy, Rocky
(c) Rocky, Porter, Tammy, Quint, Willoughby, Rocky, Venus
(d) Slacker, Porter, Tammy, Quint Willoughby, Rocky, Venus
(e) Slacker, Rocky, Porter, Tammy, Quint, Willoughby, Venus

If you, guys, can get this one I'll post up more questions.

If only I had time to look at those questions. I have so many questions of my own. :)

As I looked at this problem, I found that it is very easy to do it by elimination. The answer is B, correct. ;)

You take each choice and see if it satisfies all of the conditions in the problem. Only B does.

all correct, but you didn't give me the time you spent on each question.

Btw, ideally you have about 8 minutes for that entire set of questions.

4. If Porter is examined third, which one of the following is a complete and accurate list of animals who can be examined fifth?

(a) Quint
(b) Slacker
(c) Quint, Slacker
(d) Rocky, Slacker
(e) Quint, Rocky, Slacker
D look correct here.
Nice riddle, linear and not too complicated, although might be time-consuming.
Attention to detail is a must, you have to keep in mind all the rules and be very careful not to make a mistake.
I am sure that if you take time to do this you will get all qstns correct.
But thats the whole idea of the test-you dont have enough time.

all correct, but you didn't give me the time you spent on each question.

Btw, ideally you have about 8 minutes for that entire set of questions.
It took me about 3-4 mins for each qstn.
Its hard to finish all 4 games in 35 mins.
Some suggest to complete 3 but get them right.
It takes a lot of practice to nail it down to 10-12 mins per game.
