Dear Boojilians,

Recently, you were notified of an upgrade being performed on the forums section of this website. I am delighted to announce that the upgrade was performed successfully. The new version of the software has corrected the numerous bugs which the previous version had, and it is now running more smoothly and feels "light" in terms of loading time. It has provided new options and functions for the members, as described bellow.

Some of these new functions are the widely needed and requested spell check, which is now located in the top right hand corner, selection of the language of Russian, Hebrew and English which is located on every page at the bottom, as well as many other useful options.

Unfortunately, due to the upgrade some of the previous custom options, such as Russian translit were inadvertently removed. Our staff is working round the clock to restore these and to bring you more of the custom conveniences to make your experience on this site pleasant and enjoyable.

Regards,
Boojle Admin

Dear Boojlians,

We have just performed an upgrade of the forums. Just to briefly summarize, the following features were updated/modified:

Skype integration
You may now enter your Skype username, in addition to AIM, ICQ, MSN, and Yahoo. Calls, chats, and more may be initiated through the forums.

Natural language search improved
Natural language search should now return more relevant results, particularly when searching in a limited number of forums.

Getnew/getdaily now return threads in forums with "Can View Thread Content" set to no
These thread titles will now appear when clicking "New Posts" or getting posts in the last 24 hours.

IP banning is much improved
IP banning is now much more accurate when dealing with incomplete octets.
Uuuuh…beware now :innoc08:

Security
In addition, a recently discovered cross-site scripting (XSS) flaw in the previous version of the forum has prompted us to perform a security update.

More upgrades are coming today and during the rest of the week. Please be patient.
