The new Creative Zen Neeon, unlike the 5GB and 6GB models, uses flash memories instead. Available in 512MB, 1GB, and 2GB models, I must say it does look better than any of Creative’s other players. Well, maybe it is due to the lack of any funny-looking front controls.

The new models has the following improvements over previous models:

* Same dimensions (79.9 x 46.9 x 15.9 mm) but weighs only 55g, 20g lighter
* New duo-tone color OLED screen
* Twice the battery life, with up to 32 hours of playtime
