Yeshivot focuses on religioin and has many days off school to celebrate holidays. Public schools are not worse at all. It all depends on the person. fso zaveeseet ot samavo chiloveka daragaya. You can go to a school with a horrible status...ee veetee chilovekom ee eemet harosheeyoo profeseeyoo.

There are plenty of kids who think of themselves as holy right away just because they went to Yeshiva. But there are also those who are very educated and are truly respectful people...first themselves, then of others.

Honestly, people ask me...Lily what Yeshiva did you attend? I am like like ..."Honey, you didnt even ask me IF I attend one ."

You're right, a person can answer for him/herself, but at the same time you don't want to be a victim of some idiot who disided to come to school and shoot everybody. What are you gonna say to that? :fight58:

people people, I'm not talking about specific events I'm talking about general education. In what kind of school would your child have a greater chance of becoming an educated, well disciplined, moral individual who is an asset to society. all prejudice/misconceptions aside, objectively assess what both forms of schooling have to offer and which one would you'd most likely send your kids to. keep in mind that school is where your child spends almost/more than a half of his waking day. Ask yourself, "what kind of environment do I want my kid to be in for those 6-8 hours of the day, every day"? Also, please notice that I'm not including the importance of parental intervention in child's education; my question for now is primarily focusing of schooling.
