View Full Version : Riddle #29 [The Diamond ]
alik_05 01-23-2006, 03:43 PM A rich old jewish lady died and left all her money to her grandchildren and her children. At the end of the will she stated that she had one last thing to give away: her precious diamond. She gave a clue to where it might be. She said "it's in a cylinder surrounded by a thousand squares." One grandchild said, "I know where it is" and found it.
Where was it?
GoodBoy14 01-23-2006, 04:55 PM umm..........this is a hard one!!
the only thing I can think of that is cylindrical and has many squares (the papers) is a roll of paper towels or maybe toilet paper. But I am not sure if I am right.... This one is hard, had me thinking all afternoon. (I actually had to walk around my house for this one :happy08: )

Have to think about that, maybe she had a jewlery chest in a shape of a cylinder, I know its too far fetched, I tried. ;)
goldenmalach 01-25-2006, 12:16 PM So, Ocean and I were sitting in the bus today and were discussing this riddle. She drew a cylinder in the air trying to imagine what it could possibly be. Then I screamed, "Oh, its that thingy, u know the thing with thing that u turn and see patterns?" Then she said, "A kaleidoscope?" And I exclaimed yes.
That better be the right answer. I couldnt sleep all night thinking of it.
