View Full Version : What is most important in a girl's appearance?
QueenofLilies 04-13-2005, 08:05 AM If a girl was to choose one thing that would accentuate her looks or would claim the one most important thing that overrides everything else, which would it be?
In other words, what is the one most important thing in girl's appearance?

On a serious note, I think the most important thing in girl's apperance is anything that makes her look natural (as little makeup as possible), and innocent!!!

I don't think he said skromnost' as a trait. He said skromno odevat'sya, krasit'sya......
Actually, I have so much to say about "skromnost' " but before i open my mouth, and make a fool out of my-self. Please tell me what exactly do you mean by "skromnost'"

I mean skromnast by attitude in general. I think you would agree that for the MOST part, a girl's dresscode reflects her attitude.

Not only girl's, any person's appearance tends to reflect their personality. Unless I guess when one dresses "professionally". And still, even there one has some options.
I would agree that a person has to always consider the environment where he/she will be in, and then dress accordingly.
But I would not promote skromnost' as a personality trait, because I believe it is same as being passive, and that's not healthy.

Skromnost' is a trait. If you don't have it as a trait, you'ne not gonna act Skromno including dress Skromno etc.

I guess you are right, somehow i did not think about it that way. But then I did not explain correctly what exectly I meant.
In my opinion, I see skromnots' as being quiet and not expressing your opinion on the matter. That's what i meant. Am i making sense?

I don't agree with you on that. Torah tells us that Moshe Rabeinu was samiy Skromniy chelovek vo vsey istorii chelovechestva. Now tell me was he passive? Skromniy does not mean "Tishe vodi nizhe travi"

I guess the way it was always used made me think it is, and i can't seem to dissociate my personal feelings from it. Can you say it in english, may be? Because i would translate that word as quiet, and that's how i understand it.

That's being shy or a person has low self-esteem. See the difference?

that skromnost' is *modest* and not *quiet*.
Like i said before i perceived it differently, from what it seems ot actually mean, that's why i had a problem with that. But now i see your point.

a) Classy dress.
b) Not a lot of make up. Light color lipstick. Eyebrows should be symmetrical and proportional. Not thick and not thin.
c) Hair? No way. I don’t like hairy girls. I like smooth and tanned skin.
d) Nice small earrings and not those big "bracelets" on your ears. Watch that looks delicate and feminine and not plastic.
e) High hill shoes.
f) Long and nice nails. Pink color or light red and not whiteout.
g) And the most important thing: She should smell good. I love to smell women—especially their neck and shoulders. Female aroma can really turn on a guy. Some girls have very good natural pheromones. But if you have bad pheromones put on a perfume, but not too much.

That's being timmid and shy. Modesty implies self respect and self awareness. If you have those two components in measured degrees you will constantly keep youself in check. clothing, hair, make up, speech, intonation, body language. I'm not gonno write out what's considered modest in each of the above categories, because then I'd be inviting critisism :bonk: . Each person makes their own speculations on what's considered modest.
The Torah itself (I believe) does not define modesty, it just commands for a women to be modest and from time to time it brings examples of the actions of modest women ("Sarah was in the tent...") Our sages however, took up on themselfs to make some guidelines for women. For more on that pick up "Laws for Women" by Ben Ish Chai (easy to read, interesting, very informative, hard to get though, sinse it's out of print - can get it online @ https://nehora.com/moreinfo.cfm?Product_ID=2745)

Do a hair transplant.

You got me? Oh no. I hope you did not take my advise. Please don't shave your head. I love long hair.

Cool, wear them, as long as they don't look like plastic.
for this you have to be at least 6feet, otherwise she will be taller than you and will make you feel small lol :D
That is why I want her to wear high hills. When I kiss her I don't want to bend down or pick her up. Ato ona boodit deshat' mne v poopok. If she is 5'7 with high hills that is perfect.
.pink or red delali v rossii potomuchto they had no other colors. Here we have variety. Pearl or nude color is delicate and very gentle too. What color is nude? If she is a black woman and has black skin does it mean that nude color for her is black.

What color is nude? If she is a black woman and has black skin does it mean that nude color for her is black.. let black women think about that.
I have to smell to see if she tastes good, just like smelling food before eating it. you're not going to eat anything, why bother smelling it? lol
