Executive 02-23-2006, 01:37 AM I am a bit confused... What does stuttering have to do with G-d and "connecting" to others? Is this for speech therapists, stutterers or spiritualists? Please elaborate if you may..
alik_05 02-23-2006, 01:46 AM i could swear to you that guy resembles or looks like John Corzine.

The flyer is very vague as to the topic that will be presented. What is this really about? :sign69:

its too long and complicated for me to explain it online, but he did say that he will connect ideas from the mishna, gemarah and some more (i cant recall at the moment), incorporating it into a very insparational message.
Exec, I think you will find him interesting if not even a truly special person!
I highly encourage everyone to make an appearence at this event, it'll be worth ur while.

DobroDushnaya 05-25-2006, 06:10 PM Hi Everyone :)
Imagine not being able to speak, or having difficulty with uttering a word, or accurately producing a phoneme; all of which allow us to use speech as a means of communication and connecting with one another. The thought of inability to speak freely and smoothly is just frightening.
This event will help you understand the importance of having such ability of communication and connection, as we tend to take for granted the power of speech G-D gifted most of us.
This lecture will be an inspiring experience if your heart can feel the pain of those that struggle in this aspect of disfluency. And it will open your eyes to understand how communication is really a special gift to have.
Enjoy the event :)

I really didn't understand the purpose of the event. Was it to propogate and promote the existence of illness and dysfunction of lingual ability (possible pharma stunt)? In my opinion speech is but a evolutionary step on the progression of communicative expression. I think one day with the realization of telepathy (when we begin using the other 90% of our brains), humans will look back on the primitive days of lingual speech and consider it being an extremely primitive method of communication similar to sign/body language. I think the oral orifice has a single purpose, which is to chew and process food. Imagine if we spoke thru our anuses? Unusual concept huh? :innoc08:
