on TV? i dont know. i would like it live better. since they dont feel like getting up and actually going there, they catch some excitement at home. ;)

guys do like soap operas, as much as girls do. But its not the same with watching sports.

Sports are great, you really have to think like a guy to understand it.... ;) is not it boring to go shopping for hours and hours and hours for things that you dont need anyways....

i personally hate soap operas. i've tried watching them and it just bothers me so much. it takes them about a whole week to say one sentence. u watch it one day, and u have a lady who is in the hospital giving birth. then u put it on again in 2 weeks, and she is still giving birth.

I like hockey, tennis, basketball, baseball, football (no, unfortunately, I don't get to watch them all, but still follow)

I find that watching sports relieves some of my stress. I guess it's the competitive instinct that guys have, which makes the crazy competition on TV entertaining. It sure beats the soaps by a mile!!!!

Oh and by the way, I agree that there are some guys who like watching soap operas (I personally think they need brain surgery, because I find them borring to hell), but there are also women who follow sports (even on TV). It would be interesting to actually do a study to see what the percentage of sports TV viewers are women, compared to percentage of soap opera viewer who are male. I can almost bet that sports will get a higher percentage of women, than soaps will get of men.

Watching sports is like watching porn. You watch how players on the TV screen have fun and do all the action. I prefer playing sports in real life rather than watching how others play. Some guys need to watch it on TV to learn how to play. But the majority watch sports just for entertainment.

Girls love to watch Soap Operas because it is like watching foreplay. There is a big tension involved in it because you just don’t get to the climax until you have this huge anticipation inside you. Girls like to delay gratification and to build that anticipation of further outcome until they just can’t take it anymore. I personally think soap operas are a big torture to watch because I just want to get to the final climax of evens, but soap operas just delay that climax.

volleyball, tennis, pool, ping pong, and i learned how to swim and drive last summer, so I am into that too. :D
