Here are this weeks dumb laws. Remember that these laws either exist now and are enforced, or still exist but aren't enforced. They DO/DID exist though. Thanks

Cambodia: Water guns may not be used in New Year's celebrations.

Netherlands: Prostitution is legal but the prostitutes must pay taxes like any other business.

Denmark: Before starting your car you are required to check lights, brakes, steering and honk your horn. You also need to make a visual check to make sure there are no children underneath the car.

I don't see how these two are dumb.

Makes sense, if prostitute is making money profit she/he must share. What is so dumb about it? And this way govenrment is keeping her/him in check. I am sure she/he must have certain qualifications in order to keep her license(Im assuming she/he has license).

and this one is for safety measures, also makes sense. Better safe and sorry.

Ok, in America most everything you buy is taxable, however when services are performed, just like when u hire a lwayer to consult with or pay for food, you do not pay taxes on the services performed. Prostition is a big profit in Netherlands so IRS in would like the piece of that dirty money, isnt it weird and dumb?
