If you watch highlights of the Ghana vs Czech Republic @ http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/index.html you will see that in the Ghana second goal celebretion, one of the players took out and waved the Israeli flag. I did some research and I found out that 3 Ghana players have played soccer for Israeli teams and 2 of them actually live in Israel.

1-Sammy Adjei
CLUB: Moadan Sport Ashdod, Israel
DOB: 01.09.1980.
Caps/Goals: 31/0
First-choice goalkeeper who spent most of his career with Accra Hearts of oak but moved to Israel in 2004. Made his debut in a World Cup qualifier against Sudan in 2001. An excellent shot-stopper who has played his club football in three different countries, he can occasionally lose concentration. Adjei appeared in ten of Ghana’s qualifying matches for the 2006 FIFA World Cup™.

6-Emmanuel Pappoe
CLUB: Hapoel Kfar Saba, Israel
DOB: 3.3.1981
Caps/Goals: 28/0
Another player capped as a teenager only to go into the wilderness for years before being restored to the side in 2002. Played a regular role in the qualifying campaign. He was the captain of the Ghana team which reached the final of the 2001 FIFA World Youth Championship, and was also a member of the Ghana Olympic team in 2004

15-John Paintsil
CLUB: Hapoel Tel Aviv, Israel
DOB 15.6.1981
Caps/Goals: 22/0
Normally plays at right back but his versatility makes him a strong squad member, having also featured in central defence and at left back for his country. Played briefly in Poland at Widzew Lodz before moving to Israel.

now i dont know if anyone of them is Jewish but if the guy is waving an Israeli flag that tells u something. Anyway I thought its pretty cool to see our flag waved in the World Cup match by an African team :happy65:

btw I'm now rooting for Ghana. They upset the Czech Republic 2-0. GO GHANA!!!:jump20:

but Ghana also has 2 drawbacks, they lost to Italy while USA tied with Italy, and even though Ghana won to Czech, look at how many yellow cards they got. That's rough playing, not professional.

yellow is better then red :) 2 US players got red cards and besides Czech won by 3 goals while Italy won by 2. And while US tied Italy, Ghana has crushed Czechs by 2 goals...
but anyway I guess we'll find out by the end of this week. Enjoy!
