Got married at 9. Gave birth at the age of 13. I do not like it. But there is one good aspect about it. Girls do not have to go through the hasle of finding the prince. The prince is chosen for them.

No, if marriage does not work out - you get stock, ge used to it. No police calling.

Dude I can understand a 9 year old marying an 18 or a 20 year old but these afgans are marrying their daughters to 40-60 year olds.

Ask around. It happened with your anccestors too. They get engaged and/or married early. But no relationship happens untill the girl is muture enough, meaning ready by nature, could be at the age of 12 or 13. ( i agree mentally not ready) But believe me no one died from it. Do not take the marriage word litterally. Also, whats wrond with marriage to a 40 year old or 50. He has the same attributes as 20 years old. If find it ok. Age is just a number.

Science has proven many times that beauty and age is not as important to a girl than to a guy. For guys it is very important. girls do not need young guys, a 60 year old man will do as long as he can. once a girl gets married, she will not even care. So, Ocean having said that, never look a the age, look at the charactor.

of course, character is most important. maybe the number doesnt matter if they are attracted to each other. i dont remember the last time i heard a 13-year-old passing a 40-year-old and then commenting that she would love to marry him. the thought doesn't even cross their mind to have a relationship together.
