Myth. It has to be. It can be lust at first site though. Love takes time. How can one love a person he/she does not know?

Myth. It has to be. It can be lust at first site though. Love takes time. How can one love a person he/she does not know?
I agree. Love at first sight is nothing but lust @ first sight. Because, just as fast as you "fall in love" that's how fast you fall out of it. I don't deny the element of atraction. We often hear things like "the minute I saw you I knew you were the one" or "I've never felt like this before about a girl/guy..." Atraction is like a sorting mechanism that allows you to eliminate the ones that don't stand a chance. But atraction alone does not determine true love.

"Real love requires a careful evaluation of whether, infact, this persons understanding, perceptions, goals, and lifestyles really do jibe with yours. That process takes time, effort and honest scrutiny. "Love" is more like a magnifying glass that allows you to see the other person in his entirety - examining every aspect of the strenghts and weaknesses, personal value system, and unique personality that forge a human being. Real love takes work. If you want that pleasure it's available within every relationship. But, you have to be willing to make the effort.
What really allows us to get into the full power of love is accepting the price tag called "commitment". When you decide to commit yourself to focus in on a person's intrinsic qualities, you will come to love him."

I.- depends how you define love
II.-"first site" does not seem like it has anything to do with emotions. It seems like its a physical concenpt. Love at first site a.k.a LUST. It's an infatuation.
III.-love at first site with someone elses appearance, definitely posible and it's definitely not a myth.
