I think there are about half a dozen families still live in Andizhan. I have a close friend, he told me he has a aucle who still lives there...

I don't know the answer to that question, but are you asking this due to the situation there? Is there something we can do to help them?

That's exactly it Matrix. HIAS (Hebrew Immigration Aid Society), the same one that helped most of us come here, may be able to do some service projects to help those in need. That's why I asked about a ballpark figure - I am trying to see if it is worth initiating any projects there. If you guys have any ideas on what our Jews in UZ may need, let me know and I will bring it up with the appropriate people. Thanks again
