First of all not all guys are player. Second of all, just because you are asking this question, that alone, proves that you and many other girls are attracted to such guys that you refer to as players. The guy who is playing with your feelings is constantly on your mind, occupying all your thought and sparks all attention to himself. Everybody wants somebody who is a center of attention of the masses. Just because you see that he gives attention to somebody else, makes you jealous and that guy seem desirable. So think of that "clowning" as an approach of a guy to attract people towards himself.

Some girls do this also. I guess it depends at what stage your relationship is at. If it's a relationship then I call it cheating. If it's during the first 2 or 3 dates it's acceptable, in my opinion and I don't think it qualifies as "playing". I think it means that he/she are trying to find the right person and want to be careful about rejecting/choosing the right person.

i don't know, but if i like a guy he is on my mind even if other girls don't want him. Besides that I don't like competion and don't believe in fighting for a guy. It's just annoying and dissappointing :(

I happen to disagree with you. I want other girls panting over my boyfriend/fiance/husband and I do want them to think he's a good catch, but up to a point. I would not tolerate my bf/fiance/husband entertaining ideas that he's G-d's gift to women. I would not embarass or humiliate myself like those morons on Jerry Springer do for their lovers. I want my partner to be considered "a good catch" but I will not physically fight for him. If he does not want me he can go. But I think it means so much more that of everyone he chooses me.

No i did not say that i would not want my guy to be thought of as a good catch by other females, I mean that is always pleasant, BUT as long as I find him attractive, it does not really matter to me what others think.
