i think people should worry more about drunk driving and being retards on the road. If we fix that seatbelt will no longer be a major issue.

well either way, there are some accidents that truly are accidents. Thus making the seatbelt issue a major issue.

speaking of wearing seatbelts, today my cousin (who lives in Israel) was driving very fast without a seatbelt and got into a car accident. He flew out of the car due to the impact, but his arm got stuck in between the steering wheel. He died right after. His father in law sitting next to him was wearing a seatbelt and he walked away with no serious injuries. My cousin who died, was only 25 years older, married with 2 newborn babies who are no going to grow up without their father :(.

When wearing a seat belt make sure it is tight and not loose, or you can just slide out of it on impact. Better yet get a car with pretensioners, so when there is an impact, the belt retractor gets locked and the pretensioner tightens up the belt

Remember, Wear a Seat Belt

It shows a guy at the back without a seatbelt. I believe 95.5% of people sit without a seatbelt at the back seats.

thanks for the condolences everyone...

@code9, actually that's what I'm thinking, most of the time I also don't put my seat belt when I'm the passenger in the back seat. I guess I should from now on.
