Guys, just want to know your opinion.

On July 3rd. I went to a local jewelry store where they earrings for my 2 year old daughter. On the next day, July 4th., one of the earrings fell off somehow. My wife went back to that store again to tell the guy that, and he punched the hole in that ear again and asked the full price that we pain for this service originally. Is it right for him to ask us to pay second time?
Would you pay him if you were in that situation?

no, i definatetly don't think it's right at all. You should of told him that you would lke to return it and maybe bargain with him saying that its either he dramatically reduce the price or else....you would go somewhere else to repair it.

ok, was there a written receipt or a contract that states the price, if it does he is obligated to keep that price that was prevoiusly purchased for, according to bussiness law you are supposed pay only the price "pre-existing obligation" he cannot modify the price unless there is extra service performed. if you need to dispute it with him argue with him if he presists speak to better business bereu.

There is no receipt, and he's not modifying the price. It's just I think that the service that I got from him was half way done, so I went back so he can fix his mistake, and for that he wanted me to pay him the original price for the service.

Act as if you are a hurt customer, yelling and screaming outloud, even if it means to show yourself as a "lulah"...fearing that you might cause the business to go down because of ur long presence and extended arguments there, scaring the other potential customers, he will eventually give in.
