Guys and girls -
Please daven for this unfortunate girl. She was my brother's classmate in high school and a good friend to all to went to Ezra. She's only 22 years old and has had to battle cancer all through out junior high and high school.
While all the girls debated about the color of highlights they should put in their hair, this girl was wearing a wig to cover the hair loss from her chemo therapy. While we all complained that we bairly had time to watch TV or go to a movie with all the homework we were given, she spend her time out school in hospitals, getting treatment.
She recently had a bone marrow transplant and her body is reacting badly to it. Her cancer came back, I think for the 6th time now, and on top of this she caught pneumonia. The doctors said yesterday (January 28, 2008) that she has 24 to 48 hours to live. They have paralyzed her, assuring her loved ones that if by any miracle she survives she will need her energy for then. She is not in a coma; her eyes are open, but she cannot move or speak. My heart goes out to her. She must be very very scared.
Please say tehilim for her. That is all that we can do to help her.
Thank you.
