When you get married your wife is thin and beautiful. Then she has kids and her body loses shape. So guys, would you make her work out until she gets back to her original shape or you accept her the way she is? :fight46: before :fitgirl: after:pregnt:

The question is would she be happy with herself being out of shape? Chances are the outer you represents the state of your health in general, so isn't it better to stay in shape and be healthy and vibrant?? Besides, what normal female would be happy with herself looking in the mirror and seeing a hippopotimus (bigimot) :D. Women should try their best to bounce back, not for their husband's sake but for their OWN ;)

Hopefully my future wife will have plenty of self-respect and self love to take good care of her body/health. Carelessness and laziness ultimately brings misery and illness.. Trust me, empower yourself while your still young and vibrant ;).

Allo, her personality should be enough for you to be happy. Because remember, you will marry her for her personality not looks. Why must you be so shallow? It should not matter to you what shape she is in, especially after she will give birth to your and her children. Shame on you, you should love her dozhe esle ona budet pahozha na begimota. What is wrong with you, let go of such shallow reasoning. :D

Once again Miss Tssipa, your missing the obvious point being made and disfiguring my statements. As I said, the outside physique most often correlates with internal health status. That being said, I would want my wife to live a long and productive life, after all she will be the mother of my children :).

Secondly, I did not say I would REQUIRE her to get into shape, but that I would hope she has enough sense to care about her well-being and outwardly appearance as well as health.

Yes personality is a major factor, and regardless of change of physique or health, the vowes state "in sickness and in health, till DEATH DO US PART" :D.

Please learn to read and comprehend correctly, also see what is written and not what you want to see instead ;).

Personality? who marries for personality? never a guy...it is only true about girl's reasoning.

Btw, what if the guy were muscular and thin before marriage and then gets a large pusyaka after a few months of being married to you. Will u not require him to go to the gym? Would u except him the way he is? after all u married him for personnality and not looks :sign63:

Actually olorin, Tssipa is a unique exception to most of the girls in our community. She is seeking an amazingly gorgeous hunk, who is 6'1 and over with a physique like that of Hercules. Ask me I should know, she rejected me :).

Well, not all overweight people are unhealthy, and I am sure they are capable of living long and productive lives.

and hun, why must you get all tense, whenever I direct something at u? I thought that we agreed not to bring up "personal" issues. And another thing, I don't always say thing just to get to you, sometimes I'm just joking, and sometimes I just want to say things.

I never said that personality is the only thing that matters when choosing a long life partner. I am a strong believer in physical attraction. So there is more than just personality or just looks. Combination and variety are the key.

Tssipa, its not always the length of years that matter, but the quality that counts. How many overweight people do you know who can truly enjoy chugging around their few dozen extra pounds?

In Europe they have something in healthcare that the USA doesnt have. Its called QOL factor, standing for Quality Of Life.

Looking good has a paradoxical effect on the body and over all health. Looking good boosts confidence which in turn improves health thru the neuro-imune connection and also being lean usually lessens the chances of heart disease, diabetes and hypertension.

As far as our personal issues are concerned, I have nothing to hide, do you? :)

Interestingly enough, in 1999 Chong Do Lee, Steven N Blair, and Andrew S Jackson published a study in the Journal of Clinical Nutrition, where they examined health benefits of leanness and obesity, while at the same time concidering cardiovascular fitness. They found that those who were obese and fit cardiovascularly (i.e. exercised) had risk factors of getting a heart attack and dying that were the same as those who were normal weight and fit cardiovascularly (exercised). Their conclusion at the time was that exercising and cardiovascular fitness may be more important than obesity. So if you listen to them, you can be as big as you want (even a bigimot), but if you exersise, you can still live long good lives.

Misinterpret "body language"? We were sitting in my car both times and it was dark, what kind of body language are you referring to?? Maybe its a paranoid type of imaginary language that you create in your mind? :) I interpret verbal language pretty well and I managed to get straight forward answers out of you several times..
