Yea i know, when i first saw it i thouht it was pronounced: Booj-lee. But then i heard it was meant to rhyme with google, so why not make it Boogle.com?? :confused:

hmmm.....Bukharian Jews = boojle . That's what I thought.

Maybe it was just a cute sounding name. Maybe it has no meaning. Maybe they just said there is a meaning behind it to drive people like me crazy :)

I think the word Boojle comes from the bukharian word "boojool" which i believe stands for охрычка - the thing we used to play with as kids. Why use this word? who knows? Admin, would you please take away the mistery, and tell us exactly what the word Boojle means, and why it was used?

I've definately heard the word. I'm not possitive about the translation though!!

All I can say is that whoever came up with the name must be great in marketing. Think about it if you're creating a bukharian website when there are a few already in existence, what would make this one stand out? Yep... an outrageous name that makes people say "huh?"
