POWER PRAYERS

* May this day be blessed with good health according to the years of my life, clarity of mind, freedom from anxiety, and a restful spirit. I am an empty vessel that needs to be filled — my faith is weak, strengthen it — my love is shallow, deepen it — my defenses are feeble, fortify them — my heart is troubled, give peace to it — my thoughts are trivial, uplift them — my fears are many, diminish them — my soul is sore, heal it. Make me to know that all things are possible through love.
* Bless me with the peace of a happy home. Defend us from all dangers and adversities, and may we trust in thee, knowing that all things are in thy care, governed by thy will, guarded by thy love. Take from me the manners that may irritate, and prevent me from saying the grievous words which stir up strife. Let the law of kindness rule my life and control all I say and do. Send us the fullness of thy blessings.
* Cast out any bitterness which may be within me, and show me how to display my love and regard toward those who are away. Let me never fail to hold love precious, and protect those who are close in my heart. Abide with my loved ones wherever they may be and bring them close the circle of my love. May I reach out and touch them today through a flood of true and genuine kindness toward all those I meet.
* Stretch forth thy hands and protect me from undesirable harassments of this life. Cause aggressors against me to become powerless to harm, unable to injure or destroy, and incapable of inflicting damage on those who shun the offender. I call upon thee from my utmost.heart, and Wait for thy consolation.
* Take my hands, Master, and give me the strength to go about the tasks and duties of this day, to overcome my weaknesses, the courage to ignore the past and the future, the understanding of my capabilities, and the clarity of mind to use my abilities well. Allow me to go forth secure in the faith that I will be guided toward that which is best for me in my work, my leisure, and my life.
* I beseech thee to protect and prosper thy servant on my daily journey. Bring unto me that which is mine, and bless me with the fruits of my labor. Grant me a share of the plenty from thy earth, and an improvement in the conditions of my life. Assure me of thy shelter, and shield me against those who would harm my body or my possessions.
* Take from me any intentions of harm and turn away all destructive designs. Replace them with truth and kindness. Bestow in me the wisdom from which I may draw strength of character, quiet confidence, and enduring friendships. Let me search out and use the knowledge I have to entice true friends, create good will and attract abundant blessings.
* I ask that my eyes be opened to those things have never before been able to see or to recognize. direct my feet in the direction they should go so that the roughest path will be made smooth and safe to travel. Cast away all evil from my body, all wickedness from my mind, and all sin from my soul. Show me the answer which I know you will give. Grant that I may recognize the solution you provide to my problem. Take my lips and speak through them, take my mind and think through it, take my heart and set it afire with the love and goodness I wish to bestow on those around me.
* Grant me justice, compassion, and mercy in my dealings with authorities. Judge me with the kindness I show to others. Give unto the courts of justice and the magistrates in all this land the spirit of wisdom and understanding that they may discern the truth and impartially administer the law.
* It is my prayer that space and distance should be put between me and my enemy, It is with humility I appeal that we shall be drawn apart from one another. Remove this foe so that contentment can reign in my own home and within my own heart. I thank thee for the peace of mind this change will bring to me and my life.
* Be with me and comfort me with thy presence. Be my friend and refresh my soul. Send me the clarity of mind, the tranquility of spirit, and the gift of faith that assures me of daily grace for daily need, daily patience for daily burdens, and an abundant ceaseless love pouring into and from my heart, Show me the purpose for my life and give me the courage to persevere until I reach the goal thy hast set for me.
* Be with me this one day and assist me to respect my mind by entertaining only undefiled thoughts, my body with clean habits, and my soul with an innocent spirit. Help me to control my desire for those nourishments which are injurious to my body, my mind, my soul, or my very life itself. I am confident of thy help, and with that assistance I shall overcome the temptations put before me this day.
* Teach me to be anxious for nothing and to accept that thy wisdom is greater than my own narrow view. Let me accept and welcome alterations or transitions without doubt and fear, and in the knowledge that if we open our hearts to new fields our lives will be filled with unexpected joys. I embrace this day, and I will rejoice and be glad in it.
* Help me to be kind and thoughtful in word and generous in deed. Help me to forget myself and draw love and affection from those around me. Make me beautiful in soul, clear thinking and clean in mind, graceful in body and fair in face. Increase my force of body and mind to make it inviting to those I find appealing. I am most thankful for all favors I receive this day, and for the love of others which thou has put into my own heart.
* God grant me the courage to change the things I can change, the serenity to accept those I cannot change, and the wisdom to know the difference. But, God, grant me the courage not to give up what I think is right even though I may think it is hopeless.

Here is a good bedtime forgiveness prayer:

***THE BEDTIME FORGIVENESS PRAYER***

RIBONO SHEL OLAM [The One who has brought the Universe into being],

I hereby forgive anyone who has angered or provoked me, or anyone who has sinned against me, whether with regard to my physical person, my finances, my honor, or anything that is connected to me, whether accidently or willingly, whether intentionally or unintentionally, whether by word, or by deed, whether in this incarnation of life or in another incarnation of life, whether by a member of my Tribe or by a non-Jewish person.

May no person be brought to punishment as a result of things done to me. May it be Your Will, ADONAI, my Infinite Power, and Infinite Power of my ancestors, that I not come to transgression again.

And may You, in Your great mercy, erase that which I have transgressed against You. Please may the forgiveness not come through suffering or severe illness.

May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable before You, ADONAI, my Rock and my Redeemer.

May the Eternal Infinite One bless you and protect you; May the Eternal Infinite One shine His Face upon you and be gracious to you; May the Eternal Infinite One lift up Her Face to you and grant you harmony and PEACE. (Numbers 6: 24-26)

May the honor of the Infinite One be Eternal; May the Infinite One rejoice in His works, May She who looks upon the earth as it trembles; be He Who touches the mountains as they smoke.

I will sing to the Infinite One while I am alive, and dance a praise dance to the Force while I am still here. May my meditation be sweet unto Him. As for me, I rejoice in the Infinite One. (Psalm 104: 31-33.)

I like the way prayers are written. Very precise, as if group of lawyers got together and wrote it. Once I read this one prayer (in Shabbat Schmooze from our synagogue) for finding a soul mate. It was like these prayers, so accurate, so perfect, straight to the point, without any extra *bs words, like we write in our papers to lengthen them:D*
